It’s almost time for WAQK’s first Annual General Meeting!
What a fantastic milestone for us to reach. This AGM is the perfect opportunity for us to connect directly with our members, hear their thoughts and ideas, and invite them to help us shape the future of WAQK!
During our AGM, members will have the opportunity to vote on various agenda items. Please note that only Full Members and Full Concession Members have the right to vote on agenda items. Non-members are welcome to join the meeting as observers.
The meeting with be catered with light refreshments, and we shall be having a relaxed social afterwards in the same location.

Date: Sunday, 20th of September
Meeting time: 2PM - 3:30PM
Social: 3:30PM - 6:30PM
Location: Stonewall Newtown (on the middle floor)
Some important information to note:
Venue accessibility: please note that the area within the venue that we are meeting in is currently only accessible by stairs. If you require any assistance to attend this event, please reach out.
We will be discussing charity support for the following year. If you have any ideas of who you would like WAQK to support (such as via donation, raising funds and/or volunteer work), please bring along some information about the charity to present at the AGM, to be decided by a majority vote.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, you may appoint a proxy to attend the meeting on your behalf (your proxy must be a Full or Full Concession member, and a proxy can only hold a maximum of one (1) proxy vote). The proxy form has been emailed to members.
