WAQK Assembly – Rope Basics

The WAQK Assembly is a casual meet and greet (or munch, if you like) with a few extra goodies thrown in.

By popular demand, we’re bringing you a Basics with Rope evening—a relaxed, welcoming space to explore the art of rope play. Whether you’re completely new or want to refresh your skills, this is a great chance to learn, connect, and have fun.

What to expect:

• Safety considerations

• Negotiation points

•  Exploring different rope vibes, from sensual to power exchange

• Simple (optional) activities, solo or partnered

• Aftercare essentials

This isn’t a knot-tying class, but we’ll share tips on where to go if you want to level up. This night is about understanding how rope can be a tool for connection, expression, and play. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity.

Event details:

• Address will be shared the day before the event with those who RSVP

• Dress code: Casual on arrival; subtle kink wear welcome once inside

• Accessibility: There are stairs to the venue. Assistance is available, just let us know in advance

• This is an alcohol-free event. Water and soft drinks will be provided

• Bring a plate to share or donate to the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation, supported by Ms Sydney Leather, Lani De Viate

• Spaces are limited to 30, so please RSVP by Wednesday 23 April 2025.
